The charity urgently needs volunteers to help with donations in Scotland following lockdown decluttering.

A Rainbow Six Siege bundle has raised $171,183 for gaming accessibility charity AbleGamers.
The bundle is part of Ubisoft s Six Guardian program, GameSpot reported, and included cosmetic items for Rainbow Six Siege that could be purchased for in-game currency, with all proceeds (set at a minimum of $6) going to AbleGamers.
The Six Guardian program was announced in November last year, and launched alongside Rainbow Six Siege s Year 5 Season 4. More bundles will be announced alongside future seasons as well, Ubisoft said back then.
Steve Spohn, chief operations officer at AbleGamers, commented: We re grateful to both the players and developers for enabling us to further our mission of making it #SoEveryoneCanGame and be a part of awesome communities like Rainbow Six.

A man who had just hours earlier been warned for walking on the road while on a charity walk was seriously injured in a hit and run.
Senior Sergeant Craig Dinnissen said the man was on a charity walk from Bluff to Kaitaia when police warned him for walking in a manner that risked being hit by a car on State Highway One on Saturday.

Subscriber only An Australian charity worker has revealed how Prince Philip would gatecrash conversations with a pale ale and sausage roll in hand Dr Erica Myers-Davis was in Windsor yesterday to farewell the Duke of Edinburgh. The Melbourne University law student and charity fundraiser got to know him when she started volunteering for one of his favourite charities, the Royal Commonwealth Ex-Services League when previously based in London.
It all started with 10 packets of chicken rice 15 years ago.
JP Thong, then 35, and a friend decided to help feed the homeless in the Bukit Bintang area in Kuala Lumpur where his office was located.
Both Thong and his friend were members of the Kechara Buddhist Organisation (Kechara) and had been inspired by its late founder and spiritual teacher Tsem Rimpoche to help the homeless.

“Tsem Rimpoche, an American, had shared in one of his talks in Kuala Lumpur back in 2006 that he was once a homeless person in Los Angeles, and if some good Samaritans hadn’t helped him and given him a chance, he wouldn’t have gotten to where he was or achieved all that he had in life, ” reveals Thong.
